Interview Highlights

Patients with depression who benefit most from TMS are the ones who are less medication resistant with shorter duration of the disorder.
Relapse rates in patients with depression who underwent TMS are similar to those of ECT; however, TMS does not have the cognitive side effects of ECT.
TMS for OCD gained FDA’s approval in August 2018.
